From the weather to the ceremony and tent set up, Amber and Franco had an absolutely beautiful wedding day. They planned to have both their ceremony and reception on family owned property in Bear, Delaware, and it was just lovely. Amber wasn’t concerned with doing too many prep photos – so we did a little, had fun with it, and got her ready for the first look! Franco was blown away by his bride (I mean, she looks stunning, doesn’t she?!).
We followed the first look with a bunch of couple, bridal party and family formals. That way, after the ceremony, there were only a few more group shots to take, and the newly weds got to spend the majority of their cocktail hour enjoying their friends and family who come to celebrate with them. Someone commented on how nice it was to have most of the group photos done before the ceremony and I agree! In my experience that seems to always make for a more relaxed day and the bride and groom actually have more time to soak in the whole day together!
Being that Franco is Italian – oh my goodness the food at this wedding! It was amazing. Fulvio & Sal (you may recognize these musicians from Wilmington’s Italian Festival!) were great too – they are such a fun band.
Amber and Franco were up for trying some sunset and night photos and as you can see below – those did not disappoint! Congratulations, you two! I’m so happy for you both.
