Last weekend I had the privilege of photographing Kristen and Mike’s December Hilton Christiana wedding. This was a ‘last minute’ wedding – but all came together beautifully. The Hilton looked beautiful (as usual!) and festive with all of the holiday decor. December is a beautiful time of year for a wedding!

I loved meeting Kristen and Mike’s families and I can’t wait to go through all the family formals – there are some really hilarious ones in there! It’s fair to say that everyone seemed to really be enjoying the celebration. I especially love their sweet pup – she got to have her own little photo session with the bride and groom.

Another highlight of the day (there are usually quite a few on a wedding day!) took place during the ceremony. The officiant, Lorraine, asked Kristen and Mike’s parents and grandparents to stand and she delivered a message to them from the couple. What a sweet and meaningful moment – it’s something you don’t see too often during ceremonies. The following are just a few photos from their day. Kristen and Mike – congratulations!
