I kicked off a busy Spring season on April 3rd with an intimate Delaware elopement. After the slower winter months, I’m excited to dive back in to a full shooting schedule. And full it is! I’m looking forward to sharing as much as I can in the coming weeks and months.

The Elopement

Jessica and Patrick made the decision to tie the knot at their home with only four family members present (wait, five! We can’t forget sweet Bailey the pup ;-). There is a large Magnolia tree in their backyard that is just starting to bloom – and they made their vows to one another while standing underneath it. Some green and floral garlands were just the right touch for decor along with the white drapes that Jessica and Patrick hung.

It was a joy to capture some sweet moments for this couple and fun to work with my friend, Lynda Daring. Lynda is owner of Delaware Elopements. She is an officiant who is passionate about her work and the couples that she serves. I get to work with Lynda at two more weddings this month, each sure to be as beautiful as the last.

Gloss Salon in Newark did a fantastic job on both Jessica’s hair and makeup. And can we talk about her dress?? I love the non-traditional look. You need to check out the back of it below – gorgeous!
