A Spring engagement session is such a great idea. By this time in Delaware, everything is budding and if you time it just right, you can get some really beautiful cherry blossoms in your background. There is a perfect line of cherry trees on the edge of Brandywine Park by the Todd World War Memorial. I have had been wanting to use this spot for an engagement session and was excited for the opportunity this month! One of my best friends drove by the memorial area over a year ago and told me, “Katie! I found a tree tunnel for you!” She was right, it’s gorgeous.

Over the weekend, I met Cara and Rob by this tree line and we went to work! They were a little nervous about a professional photo shoot, but from what I could tell, they quickly relaxed and got into it. Making clients feel comfortable is key to any photo session. It’s something I always aim for because when people feel relaxed and are having a good time, it shows on their faces! Spending time with clients before their wedding day is also so important. It makes the level of comfortability that much greater and that shows in awesome wedding pics!
