Amy and Mike are married! I’m excited to share this sneak peek of their wedding day at Downingtown Country Club. These two were so much fun to work with. Our day started with the ladies getting ready in the bridal suite. Amy and Mike wrote letters to each other and planned to read them before the ceremony. It was fun to watch Amy’s expressions as she read hers. (that’s a great idea by the way! Here are some helpful tips if you are thinking about doing something similar) We followed prep shots with some photo of the ladies and the guys (separately) outside. The grounds at Downingtown are looking gorgeous this time of year! I was joking that it felt like a ‘mini Longwood’ with all of the beautiful blooming florals!

An Outdoor Ceremony at Downingtown Country Club

The sun came out and though it was hot, Amy and Mike had a lovely ceremony. His reaction to her walking down the aisle was priceless. In the Christian faith, marriage is meant to point to the even greater love that God has for us. Amy and Mike’s love for each other (as seen through their ceremony and their faces the entire day) was a great reminder to me of this perfect love that I’ve done nothing to deserve.

We followed the ceremony with lots of photos of family, bridal party and of course the newlyweds! I have a few to share with you today (mostly just of Amy and Mike – I had to cut myself off at some point, haha!)

On to the reception! Lots of fun, lots of dancing, and a really cute signature drink sign :-). Amy and Mike, I am so excited for the two of you – congratulations!!!
