On Wednesday evening, I had the opportunity to attend the first open house designed to show off a Hilton Christiana Wedding. Leah Markiewicz (Hilton sales manager) asked me to fill the wedding photographer vendor spot. In addition, she asked me to snap some photos of the different table and room setups. I love collaborating with others in the industry and was happy to comply!

Leah decorated tables with linens from BBJ linens, chairs from Vision Furniture, and floral centerpieces from Belak flowers . I love the color schemes! It is amazing what a stylish linen, fancy chairs, and florals can do to bring the whole look together. See for yourself in the images below!

What I Loved Most

Throughout the evening, I had the opportunity to meet some sweet engaged couples. Because this stage in their relationship has so much excitement – it makes my job a lot of fun! I loved meeting these couples and chatting with them a bit about wedding photography. I brought along a sample album with some of my work from a Hilton Christiana wedding. It was so much fun to share that with them because it really brings the space to life by telling a wedding story.

In addition, another highlight of the evening was connecting with the other vendors. An intimate open house like this one lends itself well to good time and conversations with my wedding professional colleagues. Other friends who joined me at the Hilton Wedding open house included Valley Creek Productions, Collars’n Cuffs, Belak Flowers, Double Spiral Chocolate, Liberty Lane Bake Shoppe and Icon Djs.
