October 10th, 2020, was a beautiful Fall day for a Riverfront Events wedding. The weather was comfortable without a drop of rain – and warmer than you’d expect for October in Delaware! It was an honor to capture these wedding memories for John and Laura. There are so many to share! Let’s start with prep.

Prepping for the Wedding

On the day of, couples usually have a lot of prep to do before walking down the aisle. This is one of my favorite parts of the wedding day to capture – I love the anticipation, excitement, details, and even nerves! We took some photos of John and the groomsmen getting ready at the historic Wilmington Club, and Laura and her bridesmaids at The Hyatt Place Wilmington Riverfront.

Along the Wilmington River Walk

As I said, it was an amazing Fall day! Just behind Riverfront Events, along the River Walk, we had beautiful scenery to use for a first look. Who doesn’t love an October wedding? We followed the first look with lots of couple and bridal party portraits. Can you spot my favorite black and white of Laura from the day? Gorgeous!

Riverfront Events Wedding Ceremony

Ceremony time!  John and Laura exchanged vows and rings outside on the Riverfront Events patio.  Check out the very cool backdrop they used for the ceremony!

The Reception

Inside, the tables were beautifully set for the reception. The lighting looked great. The bride and groom (and even Grandma) had a great time on the dance floor. I love the ‘Bust a Move’ sign! Congratulations, John & Laura! Thank you for allowing me to be part of your wedding day.❤️
