I LOVED being in and around Market Street over the weekend for Kyle and Samantha’s downtown Wilmington engagement session. We planned to meet right outside of the Chemours building. Chemours just happens to be where they met! It’s really cool that Kyle and Samantha wanted to incorporate their meeting spot in their engagement session. I always encourage clients to include a spot that has some special meaning to them as a couple – it adds an extra element to engagement photos.

Also, can we talk about Samantha’s dress?! I was so excited when I walked up and saw what she picked for the session. She looked amazing (and perfect for Fall!), and Kyle’s black shirt and jeans complimented her so well. Perfect outfits for an urban setting!

Night Photos

You can’t do a downtown Wilmington engagement session without taking some night time photos! If you know me, you know that this is one of my favorite things to do with my camera and external flash units. We took some with Kyle and Samantha lit from behind (and some others in spotlight) at the bus stop. These are some of my favorites from the session! In all honesty though, it was really hard to pick favorites. There are too many from all the different spots we stopped at for pictures.
