As I type this, it’s sunny and about 60 degrees outside (with a high of 74 today)! Six days ago when I met Courtne and Jon at Longwood Gardens, it was clear that they were going to have a gorgeous snowy engagement session! That’s March in Delaware, right? You just don’t know what you’ll get from day to day.

I’m a summer girl. I love the hot weather. Give me all the heat for most of the year. Courtne agrees with me on this! Jon was absolutely in his element for this session though. He loves snowy days. Whether snow is your favorite thing or not, last Saturday we a gorgeous Winter wonderland for a couple of hours. I’m so thankful that we timed their session when we did!

As pretty as the snow was, it was cold and windy when we started out on Saturday. You can only smile comfortably for so long under those conditions. The wonderful thing about Longwood is that year round they have a beautiful (and warm) conservatory that is perfect for all sorts of photos. At the beginning and end of our time together we were working with that very snowy engagement session. In-between snowy photos we enjoyed the tropical feel of the conservatory! That gave our fingers and toes a little time to defrost. Here are a few highlights from the middle of Courtne and Jon’s session.
